Environmental Responsibility
Skipper Limited, in association with Joygopalpur Gram Vikas Kendra (JGVK), is driving climate resilience in the Sundarbans through Hariyali—a community-based green initiative focused on plantation, livelihood support, and ecosystem restoration in South 24 Parganas.
Key environmental impact areas:
- Establishment of community-based mangrove nurseries
- Plantation of 20,000 mangroves to mitigate coastal erosion and saline intrusion
- Plantation of 10,000 fruit-bearing plants to support nutrition and income generation

Beti Padhao Abhiyan
